Responsibilities

  • Take day-to-day conduct of complex, high-value brain injury claims arising from personal injury and clinical negligence.
  • Provide clear, sensitive, and strategic advice to clients and their families, managing cases in line with the Civil Procedure Rules.

  • Work closely with experienced colleagues across the personal injury and clinical negligence team, reporting to senior leadership.

  • Supervise and support junior team members, contributing to mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and quality standards.

  • Play an active role in business development, referral relationships, charity partnerships, and enhancing the firm's specialist profile.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor (8+ years PQE) with solid experience handling high-value claimant personal injury and clinical negligence matters.

  • Direct experience of brain injury or other catastrophic injury work is highly desirable.

  • Strong working knowledge of multi-track litigation, the Civil Procedure Rules, and relevant protocols.

  • Confidence managing sensitive, life-changing cases with a practical, client-focused approach.

  • Experience supervising others and contributing to business development within a collaborative team environment.
