About this role

Corporate Solicitor (3 PQE)

Looking for top‑tier deals without the burnout?

Hours: 09:30 - 17:30

A law firm in London are currently seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 3 years' post-qualification experience to join its established Corporate team, where you'll work on headline‑quality transactions and enjoy a culture that actually lives its values.

The Firm

The firm is widely recognised for its genuinely positive, inclusive and collaborative culture across all teams. It places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, with a sustainable approach to workloads, realistic expectations and a high level of partner support. The firm is committed to long-term career development, offering high-quality work without the long-hours culture often associated with corporate roles.

The Corporate practice advises a high-quality and varied client base, including private companies, entrepreneurs, family offices, charities and other not-for-profit organisations. The team is known for delivering technically excellent, pragmatic advice while maintaining long-standing and trusted client relationships.

The Role

You will:

  • Lead small to mid‑sized transactions
  • Act as lead associate (with partner support) on larger deals
  • Negotiate SPAs, investment agreements and JVAs
  • Guide clients and advisers through the full deal process
  • Work closely with specialist teams on structuring
  • Delegate to juniors and supervise trainees
  • Support business development in key sectors

This is a role with responsibility, strong client exposure and high‑quality cross‑border work - all within a supportive, values‑driven environment.

The Candidate

You will be a strong corporate lawyer with:

  • Solid experience in private company M&A and investments
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and project‑management skills
  • Confidence running smaller transactions and leading elements of larger deals
  • Clear, tailored communication and strong client‑handling skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple matters and stay calm under pressure
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in becoming a key member of a close‑knit team
  • Strong academics and a proactive, commercial approach

This is the ideal role for someone who wants top‑quality work without the burnout culture - someone who enjoys responsibility, values teamwork and thrives in a modern but grounded environment.
