A leading Legal 500 law firm with a strong national and international client base is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its highly regarded team at their City of London office. With a long-standing reputation for excellence, this firm offers a collaborative, professional, and client-focused environment where high-quality legal service is paramount.


The Role:
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to post-completion. This includes handling freehold and leasehold transactions, new builds, remortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, solutions-focused approach and be confident in delivering outstanding service to both domestic and international clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions
  • Advising clients on all stages of the property buying and selling process
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation including contracts and leases
  • Conducting due diligence and property searches
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Delivering timely, accurate legal advice with a commercial approach


Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in residential property law
  • Strong working knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures, and industry regulations
  • Proven ability to manage files independently from start to finish
  • Excellent communication, client-care, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing deadlines under pressure
