A leading Legal 500 law firm with a strong national and international client base is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Solicitor to join its highly respected family team in London. Known for its commitment to excellence, this firm offers a collaborative, client-focused environment and exposure to complex, high-value work.


The Role:
This role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload covering all aspects of family law, including divorce, financial settlements (including high-net-worth matters), children arrangements, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements, and domestic abuse cases. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the department's ongoing business development.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a broad caseload of family law matters from initial instruction to conclusion
  • Advise on divorce, financial remedies, children issues, and protective injunctions
  • Handle complex and high-value financial disputes with minimal supervision
  • Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements
  • Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and support staff
  • Develop client relationships and contribute to the department's growth strategy


Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 3 years' PQE in family law
  • Strong experience handling financial remedy and children matters
  • Proven track record of working with high-net-worth individuals is advantageous
  • Commercially aware with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage complex cases independently and build strong client relationships
  • Enthusiastic about business development and expanding client networks
  • A client following or the ability to generate new work is highly desirable
