Java Developer - 6 month contract - Telford (Hybrid 2 days onsite)
I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Java Software Developer to join a busy team redeveloping legacy systems. You will work within an agile environment to develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based services that replace or improve legacy systems. The work centres on backend development, test coverage, and reliable service delivery.
I am keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Strong commercial experience with Java
- Proven experience using Spring Boot for backend service development.
- Practical experience writing unit tests with Junit.
- Ability to work effectively in a Scrum or agile team environment.
- Experience with any of the following is beneficial: JPA, Kibana, Maven, Mockito, AWS, GitLab, Helm, OpenAPI, SQL, or Shell Scripting.
