Business Analyst - Digital Product Team - New Services - Central Government - 12 month contract - Manchester Hybrid (3 days onsite)

I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst based local to Manchester to join a new strategic digital service project for a government client.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team using agile practices to deliver digital change.
• Analyse business problems and user needs and turn them into clear, prioritised requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead workshops, interviews and focus groups to explore issues, validate assumptions and refine requirements.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of needs.
• Map and model business processes, assess their impact on the product or service and identify improvements.
• Support change from initial concept through to delivery, contributing insight to strategic discussions when needed.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have

• Experience working as a Business Analyst in a digital or technology environment, ideally within the public sector
• Strong background in analysing and refining user and stakeholder requirements.
• Proven ability to identify, engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience using a range of analysis techniques to understand business problems and identify improvements.
• Track record of recommending improvements based on analysis of processes, data or user insights.
• Experience working on change initiatives end to end, from inception through to delivery.
• Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and contributing to senior-level strategic discussions.
• Desirable: experience in strategy work, payments, or business architecture/service design.
