RICHARD VICKERS

Richard has been CEO of Search Recruitment Group since September 2019. Overseeing the performance and growth of both Henderson Scott and Search Consultancy.

He brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role, working for PageGroup, where he was most recently responsible for shaping and growing Michael Page North America.

Richard embodies the passion and expertise that define the brands, and he’s leading the charge to further expand the group.

He lives in his native Yorkshire with his wife and three children. He’s a big Leeds United fan and loves horse racing.

DAVID POTTER

David has over 15 years’ experience in building specialist technology recruitment teams across the UK, Europe and North America.

As Managing Director, David is responsible for driving the expansion & development of Henderson Scott across our Liverpool, London, Hemel and Edinburgh offices, with a focus on delivering world class technology and commercial talent to clients globally.

David and his team put an excellent experience of both candidates and clients at the forefront of everything they do.

MARK SMITH

Mark’s background in Telecommunications & Software has allowed him to combine his technical and recruitment experience with great success.

As Regional Director at Henderson Scott Mark works seamlessly with David as part of the Technology division leadership team and is responsible for managing the success of our Hemel Hempstead office. Mark's team is focused on expanding and delivering to the UK market.

GRANT CLEMENTS

Grant’s experience in IT infrastructure covers over 25 years starting in 1997 when he worked for a highly respected IT Hardware Reseller who specialised in the provision of Digital equipment and licenses before then moving onto a Business Development role with Dell at their then European HQ on the outskirts of Dublin.

In both roles, he saw that the challenge of supplying consultancy services was a major issue for businesses large and small, so transferred his skill set and IT knowledge across to the recruitment sector where he has enjoyed success in building long standing relationships, mainly due to his experience and extensive knowledge of the IT Infrastructure landscape and taking time to fully understand each and every client’s cultural fit.

He has supported numerous FTSE 100/250 organisations on major IT transformation programmes supplying high-calibre contract/interim resource across their businesses from C suite to Engineer level.

CHLOE LAWRENCE

NATHAN POWELL

Nathan leads Henderson Scott's Security Vendor team who deliver GTM / Sales professionals into our clients globally.  He has 20+ years of experience in IT recruitment with 15 of those years spent recruiting in the Security vendor market.

His contact base in the US and Global Security vendor markets is significant and he possesses vast experience of working with established vendors and also with many high growth Pre-IPO or Private Equity owned start-up's, to advise them on hiring / talent acquisition strategies and of course then identifying and securing the right talent for them, to enable explosive growth and successful market penetration.

SEAN BROWN

Sean has 15+ years’ recruitment experience during which time he’s secured contracts and/or employment for over 700 technology professionals in the UK & Europe.  Sean has spent the last 8 years building and running multi-award winning solutions and teams. Sean has specific expertise in Employed Consultant, Statement of Work & Managed Service operating models/solutions where he has worked strategically on key business objectives for clients focused on cost reduction/control, time to deploy project resources and quality of service.

Sean is based in our Liverpool office and is the Practice Director for our Technology business in the North.

SAM SHINNER

Sam joined Henderson Scott in July 2020 and is based in the Liverpool office. He has over 8 years’ experience in Technology Recruitment which has primarily been focused on recruiting Microsoft Developers / Senior Software Engineers and BI professionals across London and the South East. Sam has built and managed a team of top performing consultants and remains hands on placing many senior appointments including CTOs / VP Engineering and Heads of Technology in the US.

As Practice Director in our Technology team, Sam play's a pivotal role in building & Managing teams in our Liverpool & AHemel Hempstead offices, recruiting talent across the UK, Europe, and the US.

MARC WILSON

Marc has 20 years’ experience within the Scottish Technology Recruitment market, predominantly focussed on providing specialists to the Financial Services and Fintech sectors in Central Scotland.

After a highly successful career with Search Consultancy, where he built and managed their award winning Technology & Transformation team, Marc joined Henderson Scott following the integration in July 2020. As Practice Manager he will be building and leading a team of specialist consultants delivering outstanding services to clients and candidates across central Scotland and beyond.

GORDON WADDELL

Gordon leads Henderson Scott’s Enterprise Software team. Operating across the UK, US, and EU his team delivers experienced Permanent and Contract Enterprise Software specialists to Consultancies and End User Clients. Gordon himself has over 8 years of recruitment experience and combines his industry knowledge and truly consultative approach to ensure clients' requirements are delivered to every time.
