Founded by Mark Bailey, Group Managing Director, Henderson Scott Ltd is launched with the goal to become the number one recruitment partner of choice, operating within niche IT Financial & Technology markets.
Becomes a Fast Track 100 Company
Henderson Scott celebrates entering the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, recognising its position as one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK.
Named Number 1 IT Recruitment Agency
Henderson Scott named number one IT & Telecoms Recruitment agency at the Recruiter’s Hot100 listing, following increased gross profit, employee headcount and GP per head.
First recruitment agency to exhibit at the Cloud Expo 2013
Due to its growing dominance in the Cloud Computing market, Henderson Scott is invited to be the first Recruitment business to exhibit at the Cloud Expo Europe 2013.
Awarded G-Cloud Supplier Status
Following the launch of the Government’s G-Cloud initiative, Henderson Scott is selected as an official supplier for the G-Cloud framework, supplying its services via the Digital Marketplace.
Search Recruitment Group acquire Henderson Scott
In August 2018 having achieved record breaking revenue, CEO Mark Bailey leads Henderson Scott through the successful sale to Search Recruitment Group. Mark remains hands on CEO of the business.

Launch of specialist Software Development & BI Division
Henderson Scott has been delivering Software Development and BI candidates to our clients for many years. In 2020 we officially launched this as a Division with the hire of experienced Business Director David Potter.
CONTINUED GROWTH
Despite the global pandemic, Henderson Scott experiences continued growth and celebrates the launch of brand new office spaces in London and Liverpool.
Following on from this, in 2022 Henderson Scott expands further within the Home Counties and a new Technology base is opened in Hemel Hempstead.

Our selected charities are usually decided on by the Senior Leadership Team, however, this year we wanted to give our employees the opportunity to nominate charities that mean something to them and then work together as a team to set their own target to support their chosen charity. Each of these charities has a unique mission, but they all share a commitment to improving the lives of people in need.
We are excited to announce the additional charities we have partnered with for 2023 are Stepping Stones DS, The Whitechapel Centre, My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, British Heart Foundation and Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.
Each of these charities are doing important work to improve the lives of people in need, and we are proud to support all their efforts. With the help of our charity representatives, we are as committed and dedicated as ever to raise as much as we can in 2023 for these 6 charities and hope that our contribution will help to make a difference.
