Full Remuneration Package: £52,000-£68,000 DOE

A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its established Family team in Southsea.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor at 2-7 PQE to join a supportive and experienced department handling a broad range of private family matters.
The team takes a client-focused approach, providing clear, constructive and compassionate advice to individuals dealing with divorce, separation, financial issues and arrangements concerning children.
The Role
You will manage a varied private family caseload, with work including:
- Divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships
- Financial matters arising from separation
- Division of matrimonial assets and property
- Pension and business interests
- High-net-worth financial matters
- Consent orders and variation applications
- Separation agreements
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Cohabitee disputes and agreements
- Children's arrangements
- Parental responsibility and contact matters
- Relocation and removal from the country
- Grandparents' rights
- Domestic abuse and related family matters
You will also:
- Manage your own caseload effectively
- Provide clear and practical advice tailored to individual clients
- Develop strong client relationships
- Work closely with colleagues across the Family department
- Maintain high standards of client service
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the team
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-7 years' PQE with experience in Family Law
- Experience handling private family matters
- A good working knowledge of divorce, finances and/or children work
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- The confidence to manage matters independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- A professional and empathetic approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach to working within a team
