Family Law - Head of Department (10+ PQE)
Location: Bexleyheath
Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 + bonus
Working pattern: Full-time | Hybrid working available
We are recruiting for an experienced Family Solicitor to take on a Head of Department role within this firm's established and growing Family Law team.
The Role
You will have responsibility for managing and developing the Family department, while handling a varied and high-quality caseload including:

Divorce and financial remedy matters

Private Law Children work
-
Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders

General family matters, including cohabitation and unmarried couple disputes
You will run cases from instruction to completion, supported by experienced administrative staff, while playing a key role in shaping the future growth and direction of the department.
About You

Solicitor with a minimum of 10 years' PQE in Family Law

Strong experience across private family and childcare matters

Children Panel accreditation is desirable

STEP qualification (or working towards) is desirable

Confident managing a full caseload independently

A genuine desire to build, mentor and lead a team

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
