Test Specialist - Quality Assurance - Government - SC Clearance

I have an immediate opportunity for a Test Consultant to join an ongoing programme for a government client.

Due to the urgency and nature of the role, successful candidates will ideally hold active SC clearance.

As a Tester, you'll take ownership of test and quality planning for a cloud solution that uses SQL metadata to drive validations, rules and export procedures. The role exists to make sure testing is designed in from the start and that quality risks are understood, managed and communicated across teams. You'll also help refine testing standards and approaches so delivery stays focused on outcomes.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Experience as a QA or Tester working with SQL driven systems.
• Experience testing applications hosted in AWS environments.
• Ability to communicate with and manage expectations of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing, reporting and resolving defects across multiple teams.
• Strong test analysis skills, including assessing risk, effort and required test coverage.
• Experience planning and implementing test and quality strategies at team or organisational level.
• Ability to use data and trends from testing and defects to improve approaches and processes.
