Are you ready to take the lead on complex construction disputes? We are looking for a senior Contentious Construction & Engineering Associate to join a highly regarded national and international team. This is an opportunity to shape strategy, manage high-value cases, and make a real impact across a prestigious client base.
The Role:
You'll manage and progress your own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on high-value, multi-party matters, helping shape case strategy and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
- Lead and manage high-value contentious construction matters, including claims over time, money, and defects.
- Advise clients strategically to manage risk and resolve disputes efficiently.
- Collaborate with senior team members across London and other UK offices to define strategy on complex cases.
- Mentor and guide junior solicitors, trainees, and paralegals, helping develop the next generation of construction law experts.
- Work across the wider team to deliver seamless, high-quality service to clients.
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a strategic, client-focused solicitor with proven experience in high-value, contentious construction and engineering matters.
- 3 - 7+ years PQE in Construction & Engineering commercial litigation, ideally with multi-party or cross-border dispute experience.
- Track record of leadership, mentoring, and providing strategic advice on challenging disputes.
- Client-centred professional with excellent judgement, analytical skills, and decision-making ability.
- Collaborative, commercially minded, and thriving in a high-performing, supportive environment.
